This session will explore the value of AI in the context of the humanities, focusing specifically on the emergence of Large Language Models and the implications for our understanding of words, meanings and the human condition itself. The session will encourage participants to reflect on innovative uses of the technology for developing self-insights, characterisation, enriching experiences and other novel uses of AI as a linguistic tool.

Alex’s interest in AI comes from his passion for technology, developmental psychology and philosophy. University lecturer by day, Alex also supports his family business, Monkton Arts, in Ryde, and has a research interest in community cohesion.
